How was your weekend? Mine was jammed packed with events.
Saturday was busy, 9 AM away game for Princess, then we had to scoot back to town right quick for a 10:30 game for her. The we were off to a 11:30AM basketball practice for the Boy. After that we went to get the essential groceries.(I forgot the damn gallon of Milk, I hate when I do that) Hubby was off to work, and the snow came Brrrrrrr. My daughters friend that lives across the street came over in the evening to play board games. I made Monkey bread and we had a nice time. We showed him (yes its a boy but they have been friends since she was 6) my blog and all of your blogs and that was a trip, their question was this "Why do people read about what you do? Its not very fun" Such sweet kids Don't Ya think?!?!?!
Then Sunday UGH Sunday!
12PM The Boy has his first basketball game. Princess couldn't go due to an overload of Math and Spanish Homework :(....He did OK but he watches his sisters game way to closely I guess because he thought he could be as aggressive as she is. They put him in his place and kept an eye on him. He did quite well on defense. It is 1st & 2nd graders so the ball almost looks magnetic. My nephew was on the other team which was a treat. He made 3 baskets, Woo Hoo Go Matt!
4Pm Princess has a Basketball game for her recreational team- They win (more like slaughtered)
5:30Pm The Boy makes the church spontaneously Combust I mean goes to First Reconciliation (Confession) I drop him at the church and hope for the best. Then head to the parent meeting for 1st communion parents.
6:30 Pick him up after he bows and says AMEN to the goldfish they were practicing with. We are off to the city
7PM Princess has a CYO basketball game (coach picked her up) The Boy and I made it just 2 min into the first half! WOO HOO Super Mom!
Came home and packed The Boy for school (he has a special day tomorrow that is all about him its called "Me Stew")
Watched Desperate Housewives & Brothers & Sisters and i was off to bed!
What did you do this weekend?
Things I should have done but did not have time for
I did not clean
I did not cook a big dinner
I did not do laundry
Maybe tonight I will get to the laundry. I am making a roaster chicken so that will make me feel like a good wife/Mom. LOL

I always wondered how people have relaxing weekends. I always have a ton to do and a ton left over to do.
Buttercream... I feel the same way... I must have missed the sign up sheet for relaxing weekends.
The weekends are NEVER relaxing with kids!
I made the crazy decision to teach 7th Grade CCD Confirmation Classes at church. They are Sunday at 3:30pm...I am so tired by that time and I have thirteen kids---12 year olds in that class. Anyway...they are a real challenge and I am a real grouch. It makes for a Bad combination!!!
I am happy to have a quiet Monday with my boys back in school!
