Tax Day

Ok so i did all my QuickBooks. Collected all the pertainent information needed for my Tax appointment but, I am still nervous! UGH>>>> I made the appointment and hubby is working so he wont be there. It is my business and our joint filing so I am the more important of the two of us that have to be there. I just hate going without him. He thinks of some pretty important stuff every year just while we are sitting there. Here's to getting back some serious $$ So I can pay off my credit cards!!!


So it snowed here for like a minute. Now it supposed to go up to 40 ish. I'll take that! Just need the sun to come out now.

Princess is signing up for her High School courses today! She talked to me some about honors English and History. I want her to take the honors course but tols her it was up to her. I didn't make a big deal of it but BOY DO I WANT HER IN HONORS CLASSES!! Her friends will be there and even if she doesn't get an A she wont be bored with work that may be too easy. Lord knows she wouldn't complain about it so I would never know that she wasn't being challenged.

We are Back

We went to Blacksburg VA to visit hubby's Grandma it was very nice! SHE IS 85 AND STILL COMPLETELY WITH IT! It was a great visit. It is a big College town. Virgina Tech town! So princess and I went and got ourselves VT Hokie sweatshirts. Grandma said as we drove back to our hotel, past the college "Look girls there is your Alma mater" LOL She is very funny! She wanted to take us roller skating. The Boy, Hubby and I all got up on skates. Princess says she cant do it. translation She wont do it! We left there adn drove about 4 hours to Williamsburg VA. Here it is!!!

We went with 2 other families. Total of 12 people. We played cards 2 night in our room. Here are a few photos of the messy room and the hotel (Not kidding 12 people hanging out in one room. It was that big.) Each family had their own room. We just hung out together in one room in the evening.

we are leaving Blacksburg today to head to Williamsburg. Its a 4 hour drive. Nothing compared to the ride here. Our visit with Hubby's Grandmother was very nice.

The kids are excited to get to the water park. Have a nice President's Day!

Woo Hoo 18 hours before we leave! THings are tense right now and I am not sure why. Hubby and I are at eachothers throats! Oh well maybe its just the stress of the long ride we are fearing.

Prayers to those souls that were lost in the tradgic plane crash last night and too all of their families.

Good Day all

its Thursday and I'm sure all over blogland there is some thing I am supposed to do for Thursday but I am throwing caution to the wind and doing nothing!

Hubby packed The Boy 80% of the way is what I am told. Princess decided to try on her new bathing suit LAST NIGHT for our trip Saturday. She comes running downstairs saying that the top of one of the suits was too bog. WELL when she put it on the right way it was perfectly fine! Oh that child! Her and I are sharing a rather large suit case.

Why do I have to share a suit case? I am the one who has to pack all the shampoo, toothpaste, tooth brushes, hair brush, razor, cream, deodorant, etc...I will tell you why, cuz we are taking my car instead of hubby's SUV. I was not happy about this even though my car is new it is still a sedan and not as roomy as the SUV. My car is more reliable I guess and I understand that but then I am limited to what I can bring and how I pack I don't like limits!

Anywho! Like I posted about Valentines trick from hubby, he is sticking to it. No gift exchange cuz we are going to be spending too much while away. Going out to eat because we are on the road is now counting as a Valentines Dinner! Here comes the youngest child in me "I want a present!" Ok there its outta my system. I wrote him a poem and printed it on pretty paper! I am sure he will love it. I asked him to make me a card and he was not happy and said he would buy one. Whatever! he is too busy getting stuff ready to leave i guess.

Got my brows waxed last night by a new girl, I hate them! they grow back so I am not going to cry about it but its almost as bad as a bad haircut! Then I went to get a pedi in town. It was nice and she did a good job. It was my first visit there. I hate trusting new people but I am in a time crunch so its my bad.

All of your comments on my clean desk were amazing. I am not a neat person but i thought I did a great job and I appreciate the affirmation! I was very excited to see that some of you commented on it!!!

I am nervous!!!!!!!!! HELP! I have to pack up the family and take them south BUT Not very far south. What do I pack? We are in MA and we are going to VA. We are going to an indoor water park (84 degrees inside). We will have to leave the hotel to eat but that's about it. I wish I could say I would be shopping but that would be a lie. This vacation will be bare bones. Just enough $ to eat and relax in the hotel. No extra spending.

So far I have this on my list

Jeans
hoodie
slacks
sweater
long sleeve and short sleeve shirts
fleece coat
bathing suits/cover ups
flops

Of course I will pack the toiletries. I am hoping that we get out of the hotel more than I anticipate but getting the kids away from acres and acres of water slide is going to be virtually impossible.

OH listen to this! Hubby is too cute!

When we planned this little vacation with antoher couple we were excited. We are leaving 2 days early to visit his grandma in VA as well. OK SO he says to me "You know what I am going to do for you on Valentines Day?" I am intrigued, I say "whats that?" here it comes "I am going to take you to Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner you wont have too cook. How about an over night at a hotel too?" I had already caught on. my response was "WOW baby that would be amazing, can you drive me around ALL DAY too?"


We leave for this trip on Valentines Day, driving 12 hours! He thought he had me, I was not falling for that one...LOL

New Furnace

They finished installing the new furnace last night. We burn wood to heat but need to fix the furnace just in case.

My Brother In Law came over with my niece Emma. She was too funny. She just loves my kids. We love her to pieces! She didn't smack my face when i picked her up either. Things are looking up...lol

I watched Big Love last night. OHHHHH BOY was it good. Nicky is supposed to be all holier than thou, compound chick,and she is the one who is breaking all the rules. She drives me nuts! I don't pretend to agree with the preface of the show, polygamy, but MAN is it entertaining!

I did a few loads of laundry last night. Just gearing up for packing! I am so worried that I wont bring the right stuff for the kids. Oh well its not like we cant buy something when we get there if I forget something.

Still cleaning my desk. I took before pictures. you will just about $h!t when you see how bad it is. I know where everything is, kinda..LOL

Begin the cleaning

I will have a part timer here for a few days and I have to clean off my desk. She will be covering for me while I am gone. We are going to Virginia for a little vacation! We are driving UGH...Not looking forward to that at all. We are going to visit my Hubbys grandmother then to the indoor water park!

Our weekend was jam packed with events. I need a nap! I was able to sleep in on Sunday until 8:30!!! That was great. My sister April, had the kids.

Had a great Tupperware Party on Saturday night. April and Princess came with me. It was held by my old neighbor. It was great to see her and some of her family again!

Meatball Grinders

That's what I am making for dinner. Fried onions and peppers sauce and Mozzarella cheese all on a fresh Italian roll. My sister and her Family are coming over for dinner. The furnace is going to be finished tonight YAY!!! That cost us a pretty penny. Hubby was asking the guy about central air and how much more for that. We had it at our old house. This house being a log home is more difficult to run duct work to the second floor. Blah Blah Blah Sry to bore you!

My Princess made Honor Roll and I forgot to tell you!!! She did awesome! We are so very proud of her. Dad has to fork over $20 for every A she earns so she may be buying breakfast this weekend..LOL

The BOY, well what can I say. He is going through a full battery of testing to see where the problem lies. We met with the teacher, Title one reading teacher, Vice Principal, and the School councilor. Together we will put together a plan after his testing. However if he needs help he has to move his classroom. Oh I am SOOO NOT HAPPY about that. His current teacher does not have an assistant and her classroom is not set up for "inclusion IEP" students. I will cross that bridge when we come to it. But to me moving a already struggling child out of a class that he loves is not a way to inspire him and to insure him that he is as "normal" as the other children.

Tomorrow I have 2 basketball games for the kids and then a Tupperware party for my old neighbor. Should be a blast!

I'm back!

Thank you for all your well wishes !!!! I have been lurking theses past few days around blog world. Just reading up. I am at work and I cant believe it is only Thursday! It feels like it should be Friday for sure!

It is super cold out BURRR! I did just open my new Black and Decker Home Cafe! I bought it Ohhhhh 3 years ago at CVS and thought I would give It away as a gift but waited too long and i worried that it would be broken and then they couldn't bring it back because I bought it so long ago, ANYWAY Its open and I am going to try it. I will let you know!

Death Warmed Over

That's how I feel today. My son was sick this weekend and now it's my turn. I am just glad he seems to be on the mend.

I have to point out that my Superbowl Pick won. However, I thought it was an amazing game and that both teams played well. I was kinda pissed at Pitts. for a few of their personal fouls of unnecessary roughness and unsportsmen like conduct. That sucked! I was disappointed in those men for acting like that but Oh well its football. No woman running the show, stupid stuff is bound to happen. Now they have 6 Superbpwl Wins. The most Superbowl wins in the NFL. That is pretty cool, even if it isn't the Patriots!
