Slacker Carole!

I have yet to download my pictures to the puter. I am such a lazy bones. Work is pretty busy which is super great. My babies are staying at my sisters tonight. Princess has practice 6:30 7:30 in town then 8-930 2 towns over. Should be an adventure getting her there and back.

We are going to my sisters for New Years Eve. I am not sure of the time or what we are eating etc. But it should be fun!

Some pics you all posted are too funny! I was reading of Mrs. Newlywed. So sorry you had such a horrible time. Then wondering if Cami and Carrah had a nice Christmas, the pictures show a wonderful time had by all on Kaycee's page. Miss Rachel got a camera, it will be fun to watch her learn to use it. I must go now and continue to read read read!!

My Poor Baby Boy!

He was sleeping and was super pale white with pink puffy eyes. Poor Pumpkin! Princess wanted to wake him up right away. He did not look good!




So we woke him up and he was feeling very tired from the Benedryl. I had to give him another does. He took it like a trooper! Then went right back to sleep.

Hubby is at the doc's with him now. I wish I was there! I couldn't stay home. I have no one to open the office for me and I will be off tomorrow, and Friday. UGH!!!! I want to be there to see what they ask, say, do etc. I gave him a note of all the symptoms and what we have done so far for him.

Lets just hope its not Chicken Pox and that its just an allergic reaction to his cold virus, like the Dr. said on the phone lawst night at 6pm and again at 11pm LOL!!!

Oh and to top it off when I came home alst night to find my baby covered in pink dots, he had got in trouble in class and came home with a bus ticket from Friday UGH!!!

Let it Snow

We are on our second snow storm in 3 days. Its very beautiful, just not very safe.

We celebrated CHristmas with my Mother-In-Law. We go to her Mom's (Noni's) house Christmas Eve and she doesnt like to lug our gifts there so she has us over the weekend before. She always goes over bored with gifts for our family. This will be our first year without her Mom, hubby's Grandmother. My MIL has been taking it very hard. Grandma died on my MIL's Birthday, September 24th of this year. It was very hard to see her go throught the pain of losing her Mother. I know how hard it is. SHe was 86 years old. SHe lived a very full life. SHe will be greatly missed, especially this holiday season.

Back to happy thoughts. Here is the gift roll call.
Hubby and I got a Garmin GPS (LOVE IT), and a half dozen Mrs. Prindable apples. I love those things!
I got 2 pairs of jammies, leather fur lines gloves, Gorham crystal platter, Flameless wall sconce candles, Bailey's (Yummo), The Barescentuals diamond gift set.
Hubby got a wine arrator, 2 pairs of jammie pants, bottle of Captain Morgans, slippers, Kneen pad and detail kit from Griots Garage ( I guess that place is a big deal for car nuts).
Princess got a 3-D puzzle thats plastic so she can use it after as a globe, the last 2 Twilight series books, gloves, jammies, Fairy Pop Up book, Rubiks key chain game, princess pens, Wii game, Aero Fur hoodies and cable knit sweater, Webkinz stuff.
THe boy got Webkinz stuff, Bakugan launcher and belt,2 Lego sets, an over night bag, jammies, rubiks key chain game, Lego Starwars Pens, Hess Truck.

She made us a wondreful dinner of Prime Rib and it was delcious. We try to ask her every year to scale back but every year she says the same thing "I will do it until I cant, then I will scale back" I just feel bad beacuse we cant get her extravigant gifts. I was able to get her the few things she asked for. A Cashmere Sweater and some foo foo hair products that she loves. They are stupid expensive just for hair products but she loves it.

I hope that school isn't cancelled again. They go Monday and Tuesday then they are on break until Jan 5th.

TGIF FFFFlipping snow

We are supposed to get 8-12 inches of the white stuff. It is supposed to start around noon time and dump 1 to 2 inches per hour. I work about 45 min away from home so as soon as it starts I am outta here! Princess heard from one of her teachers (Thanks a bunch Teach)about a friend getting stuck on the highway for 7 hours so she didn't want me going to work..LOL..Then she told me to bring lots of snacks in case I get stuck. She is such a sweetheart! I love you baby girl if you are reading this!

OK so my blog bit me in the ass yesterday! I wrote the 7 things about me, remember? Well hubby reads my blog and he saw that I wrote about Not thinking I should have to buy for his Grandparents because I don't have any that are still living. He took this as I had already bought them something. Well that wasn't the case. Whoops! So I put together an album of pics from the last year, including last Christmas on Kodak gallery.com and sent one to each grandparent. I think I will do this every year, I know, I rock!!!

Hubby and I will be home alone tonight!! Can you hear the cheesey "Bown chicka wou wou" music??? You cant? That's because we will be doing nothing but Wrapping! Not the fun beat box kind either. We have to wrap every darn gift in 1 day. One good thing is he will be helping me this year. I usually do it alone, not always but usually. (psst remember he reads the blog I have to give him some credit) Hard part is everything is in a secret place (princess reads my blog too hee hee hee) and we need to get everything together before we can't get to it cuz of the snow.

I have Hubby's Aunt and uncle (They are his God Parents too)to get for (coffee and a throw blanket) my Niece Erica (DS Game) and His cousin's baby Sofia (maybe PJ's) Then stick a fork in me Cuz I Am DONE!!!

POST 75 OMG I'm a chatty Cathy!

My friend Stacey makes these. They are delcious. We call them CRACK, you are hooked after the first bite!


CRACK

1) 1 bag of milk chocolate morsels
2) 1 bag of butterscotch morsels
3) 1 can of chow mien noodles
4) 1 can of 10oz(ish) salted Spanish peanuts.

Melt the choc. and butterscotch chips
Stir in the peanuts and chow mien noodles.
Coat with the choc./butterscotch mixture well.
Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper lined cookie sheet.
Chill and eat!!

Snow Delay---2 Hours

I didn't get to work until 10 AM!! Good thing I'm the boss. My Oldest sisters kids were dropped off so she could go to work on time. I know what your thinking, "Boy, I wish I had such a wonderful Sister!" The kids were very well behaved. Miss Erica did not get the concept of my white dogs(3 of them to be exact) and her dark colored pants. She was covered in dog hair! UGH... I de-linted her twice before I left. Then hubby did it again before they went to the bus stop......Hubby got them all on the bus (9:45AM) so I could get to work within a reasonable hour. He was waiting for a call from work for overtime but he didn't get it by 9:15AM so I was able to leave. He is not happy with my sister. Her kids did not have gloves or hats with them. The boy is to wear his hat and zipped winter coat along with gloves pending the temp out. It was around 28-30 degrees this morning so gloves would have been optional for waiting for the bus but he needs them for recess at school.

He was well behaved again yesterday. The note said "He only need a few reminders to stay on task" Which is much improved from other notes I have received. Not perfect though! Which would be nice but I am not aiming for the stars here. If the teacher is happy I am happy.

We went to a local restaurant in town last night with April and Emma. It was 1/2 price wing night. They were super tasty last night. We had the fresh cut homemade french fries with out wings. Sweet potato fries for an appetizer. They were delicious!!

Its chicken and rice with rice sauce tonight. Not my favorite but everyone eats it so its an easy meal.

Ok I stopped sobbing and I am taking a pro active approach to this. I have been researching on the net and finding great ideas. This is going to work!

Rep cancelled lunch, teacher emailed me The Boy is being awful today. Even after our heart to heart this morning. My heart HURTS! My chest actually hurts. I cant stop crying. Why cant I help my own son? I should know how to fix him! Im his Damn mother I should be able to help him!

Hello and Happy Friday

Hope all is well for all of my Blogging friends. We are still getting poured on here in MA. Thank God it isn't snow. We would be under 2 feet of the white stuff! I had our annual Insurance Holiday meeting yesterday. It went well. I am having lunch with a Rep from one of the companies I use today. YUMM I loves me a free lunch! We have 2 basketball practices tonight for Miss Princess. I am just hoping it stays about 32 degrees so the roads don't turn to ice. Tomorrow is her first in season game. Their team did win the Pre Season Tournament, YAY! Now the real season starts. I have my Tupperware Christmas Party at the Directors house. We had to bring a gift for a Yankee swap. I made the AWESOME baskets full of goodies ( I didn't take pictures, I will try too tonight). I can't wait to see the face of whoever gets that gift! Hubby has his work party as well. We may meet up after our parties and have a drink together. That would be really nice!

I am still at my wits end with The Boy. He informed me this AM that there was a note in his bag from his teacher, I couldn't find it. The note is asking for a meeting with us and the teacher, which I would love to do. Maybe she can help me figure out how to make him behave. I broke down and cried this morning when he told me. I asked him what I can do to help him be a good boy. He said he doesn't know but that he wants another chance to prove himself. I told him he can start fresh, be a good listener, and a quiet boy in school. Let's see if he can. I know he is a good boy he is just a too talkative and a social butterfly. Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

I took the kids to dinner because I didn't want too cook. We just went to a small place in town. Well, we ran into The Boys bus driver! I always ask how has my son been on the bus. I usually get the answer "ehhh Ok, I have to speak to him sometimes" Not this time! Her answer this time, " I have to speak to him every day at least 10 times" OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG! I said Oh no I am so sorry that is happening. What has he been doing? "He took a little girls hat off her head and threw it"....OMG OMG OMG...At this point my blood is boiling, turn to him, he looks at me as if "this woman has no idea what she is saying, I never did that!" look....He gets a "What the hell are you doing, tap on the back of the head" I told her I would be sure to speak to him and that he will behave from now on. OK LADIES, WTH?!?!?!?! I am so angry with him. He said he has been doing well on the bus! LIAR!!! Am I raising a little hellion? How do I stop him from being bad boy on the bus? He is already grounded to his room for getting into a fight at school. I added 1 Weekend day to his punishment. I told him that his sister will be getting him off the bus and ASKING the bus driver if she had to speak to him. In the event she had to he will be grounded to his room. WHAT ELSE CAN I DO?

While making small talk with the water delivery guy he told me that his tree was up. Upside Down and all. I was ubber confused, HUH What ever do you mean. His wife had won a Xmas tree on EBay for .99 cents. It was just like the one her dad has in CA. OK Am I that sheltered that I have NEVER in my life seen an Upside Down Christmas tree? Have you heard of such a thing? They carry them at Home frigging Depot. OMG how could i have not known about these?

Hump Day, Bye Bye Rental!

I did not want to give back my rental.....Boo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!



Picked up my car this morning. It came out great! Had to leave the house early (hubby got outta bed and got The Boy in the bus for me) to go to the car rental office drop the car there have them bring me to the body shop then I was late to work. Only by about 8 min.

I have not blogged about the fact that The Boy got in a fight at school. Another little boy brought a toy in to school. The Boys teacher does not allow this but this kids teacher does I guess. He would not let The Boy see it so The Boy grabbed it off the table, other kid grabbed it back and "supposedly" hurt The Boys hand so The Boy scratched the kids hand. Off to the principals office they went and hashed it out there. The Boy is grounded to his room for 5 days and his ownership of the dirt bike is pending, if he loses too many tickets in 4 weeks we may sell it.

So he is in deep shit with hubby and I. However I want to call the school and find out the deal with toys. I am fine with the way the school handled what happened. I have told him do not touch anyone ever, unless they hurt you on purpose then.... well I will save that one for a later post!!! What I am not fine with is the toy thing. Can they bring them? Why can some and not others? In insurance we call things like this an attractive nuisance . If its there, you know there is going to be trouble no matter what the cause! Why not just ENFORCE the handbook and not let anyone bring in toys? I don't know it is not solid ground here. I don't want to sound like I am defending his actions, I am sooooooo not. Hey, give me a rule I stick to it. I check his bag cuz he is a sneaky lil' shit. But hold all parents and children alike to this not just some.

We did it!!!

We finally put the tree up. Princess wanted to hang her collection of Precious Moments Christmas Stocking Dolls from the mantel, so I let her.I am not fond of how it looks but she is thrilled! These were taken before clean up so I do apologize. Can you see hubby's atrocity of a fish tank?? UGH!!

So games are all done for the weekend. Princesses team only lost one of them. The championship game is tonight. Keep your fingers crossed for us please.

I made homemade sauce and pan fried meatballs for dinner. I make sauce often and it never comes out the same. If it comes out yucky I am in a bad mood for the rest of the day. It was perfect! The pork gives it such great flavor!!! I also made homemade hot cocoa while we were putting up the tree. I got the recipe from KOTC. It was wicked good!!! Thanks Miranda....

Tonight its basketball practice at 5:30-6:30 in town, then a game at 8:20 in the city. Fun Fun Fun! The practice is for rec dept bball the game (CYO) is the tournament they were in that they won last weekend, they will be playing a much harder team tonight in the tournament. I am nervous for them. They have no idea how much more aggressive inner city teams are. Should be a great challenge for them. I just hope Princess keeps her attitude in check. It's one of her downfalls when it comes to this sport. She gets too aggressive. I'll let you know if anyone puts her in her place tonight. I will have to tell her there is always someone bigger than you and stonger than you. They will not care about the technical foul they will take their punishment just to hurt you so be careful!

I'm so EXCITED, and I just cant hide it!

Hee hee hee, I'm resurrecting my inner 80's chick! Tomorrow is Friday! Which as you know is the day before Saturday. I get to spend time with hubby Saturday, i cant wait YIPPEE!! I have a basketball game with Princess at 9 am he has the vet apt at 8:45. We are meeting back at the house for 10:30. We will put up the tree and decorate a bit. I will make lunch and some homemade cocoa. He has to leave for work by 3pm so we will have to cram a lot into a little bit of time. I am just so excited!!

We had dinner at my sister Aprils, Thank you April. I tried to get some shots of my niece for an xmas card but I am not so sure how they came out. She was not very cooperative to say the least. I will post some pics once they have been uploaded.

He just got in his car and left. I wanted to go down and put a Stupid Parking Award on his car but I wasn't quick enough!

The boy lost a ticket at school yesterday. UGH! So no TV for him last night. Princess is grounded to her room AGAIN! 2 HUGE baskets of clean laundry all over her floor. I should not have let her off grounding as early as I did the last time. Her room was passable but not perfect. So now she has to clean it perfect. My bad, wont happen again! Hubby is in the area so i am hoping he pops in to see me at work! Would be a great treat but he is on call so that may not happen.

My son told me he cant believe we don't have our tree up yet, everyone at school has theirs up and some even have a tree in every room. I told him we are going to wait until Daddy's home to do it together as a family. He proceeded to rip my heart from my chest and stomp on it by saying, "Why do we have to wait for him? He doesn't have any Christmas Spirit" OMG What? Why is this kid being so harsh? Does he truly think Daddy has no Christmas spirit?? Then I thought about the conversation leading up to him asking about it. He realized I wasn't going to do it with out Daddy and so he dissed his Daddy to get his way?!?!?! He is only 7 and is being super manipulative. I am NOT putting tree up now just on principal, until hubby is here to help, and defend himself if need be..lol

Hola!

I dropped my phone off to be fixed. They have to replace it. Which I think is great! Princess dropped her phone in the *ahem* toilet. Way to go slick! She woke me up this AM at around 6am to tell me. I thought for sure she didn't fish it out and I was going to have to. To my surprise she had it in her hand...EWW! It still works but it only vibrates and it does that at random times. The previous phone was put through the washing machine and dryer and still worked but only on speaker. Verizon replaced it since it still worked just the speaker was gone. This is the second phone to hit water for her. Her phone is past its warranty so she is SOL.

I have an appointment Monday to drop my car at the body shop. Then the rental will be waiting. I was able to locate a Caddy. Since I have $75 a day rental, I wanted to get something nice. Pretty sad it will be nicer than my car...lol Dance class tonight. We are off Thursday nights. Then Friday, Saturday, and Sunday is basketball for her. UGH will it ever end? The Boy will start very soon with basketball as well. However, his is only on Saturday mornings. One day a week 3xweek practical and tournaments etc.

So Audi Lady never called me back about hitting my car. So I called my insurance company and reported it. The car is going in Monday to get fixed. I have a rental car meeting me there. After that its smooth sailing. OHHHH Guess what?!?!?!?! I won $4 on a $2 scratch ticket! Yay Me! The lady at the register looked perplexed when I actually wanted my $4. LOL I guess most would just buy 2 more tickets. Not me~!! I paid $3.46 for Coffee and that scratch ticket. So I really only won 54 cents. Hey it paid for my coffee and a little scratching fun!

This morning on my way to work someone plowed into the back of my car! UGH!!! I didn't get hurt. Just bumped my head.( Felt stupid cuz my head was cocked to the side trying to see oncoming traffic so when she hit me, my head hit the side window) She left the imprint of her license plate in my bumper. GRRRR

My sister and her hubby and Miss Emma came for dinner. My groom bought pizza. It was wicked good! Surprising since they are hit or miss on flavor sometimes.

Princess is at Basketball practice and the Boy is in bed.

I figured I would post those pictures to explain my previous miserable post. I had the car looked at for an estimate and its only $500 which is a deal compared to her(rear ender) surcharge on her insurance . She has yet to call me back. If I don't hear from her by morning then I will have to go through the insurance company. I will feel bad for her but I gave her time. I know if it was me I would have called back right away! Maybe she has enough money that she doesnt care about her insurance? I don't know but, I wanted to give her a chance to make that desicion.

Mondy afternoon Delight

Cranberry Pie (more like a sweet cranberry crisp if I was naming it)

In a deep pie dish plate combine:

1. 12oz bag of cranberries

2. 1 cup chopped walnuts

3. 1/2 cup sugar



Batter:

1 cup sugar

1 cup flour

1/2 cup butter melted

1/4 cup vegetable oil

2 eggs well beaten

Mix all ingredients

Pour over cranberry mix starting in the center - it spreads out over berries as it bakes.



Bake at 350 for 60 minutes. It should be golden brown on top.

So far my morning has been good. Busy busy! How is your week starting off? The kids are back to school until the 24th of this month. Which is great for me, not so much for them..lol...Hubby is off tonight Woo Hoo but he is not feeling well and neither is Princess. We have one of his buddies coming over for dinner tonight too. Should be a nice evening if Hubby starts feeling better. Keep your fingers crossed!!

HELLO!!! Work tomorrow UGH! But it will be good to get back to normal. I just keep saying that hoping I will someday believe it...lol

I did stay home Wednesday. I made Stuffing, Turnip & Carrots, Rue's Peaches and Yam Bake (Thank you Rue I screwed it up and made it too sweet but I am going to try again at Christmas!), Chocolate cream, Key lime, Sugar free Apple, and Lemon meringue pie!!! Everything turned out good. The stuffing was a bit dry but the flavor was good. My sister made the turkey and potatoes and gravy and everything else we enjoyed at Thanksgiving. Her turkey was super juicy! I don't think I could ever make a juicy bird. I'm so afraid it will be under cooked I over cook poultry every time. My Brother In Laws(Aprils hubby) grandparents joined us. They are such a treat. Hubby was able to eat with us before work, Yippie!!! But then had to go to work before dessert:(....I brought him home a plate of a few different kinds of treats. My Oldest sister (Tracey) came for dessert with her boyfriend, His parents , his sister, and his son. That's all I have to say about that.(My niece and Nephew were unable to attend b/c they went with their Dad at 3 for his dinner)

Friday was a Tupperware party for a friend of April's. It went well. Then some Black Friday Shopping at Toys R Us. I did quite well for the boy and Princess. Finding the remaining few gifts they will get may be a challenge. I was just happy to get a few things that were on sale.

Dropped the boy at Father In Laws for a sleepover WOOHOO!!

Princess had a Basketball game (Tournement) in the evening and they won!!! Way to go Princess. Then her and I went to our old neighborhood to visit with our old neighbors. They were very excited to see her and I. We visited there until 10pm!! Then we made the trek back home.

Saturday was nice. Kinda quiet, she had another tournament game at 2pm Princesses team won again!! Then we went to the grocery store and then home! Father In Law dropped off the boy. We had dinner then we were off to my sister Aprils for cocktails and hors' devours. Our breakfast club couple, Martin and Carey, and Martins parents came to visit. Martins parents are here from England. They were so delightful! It was really great to meet them and talk about all kinds of things! They are very interesting people who have traveled the world. Their accents were super fun to listen too! We didn't leave until 11pm! The boy had already fallen asleep in my sisters bed. Princess was sleeping over so I only had to worry about getting him home. He was a bear! Kicking and screaming to get him in the car. Good night over all.

And here its Sunday already! Had a Tupperware meeting. I was recognized as the 12Th in highest sales for our team. Came home and made some lunch. Finished, that's right ladies, FINISHED my Christmas shopping for the kids all online. WOO HOO! Oldest sister came over to look thru clothes I was giving her. Was great to see Matt and Erica too! Did 3 loads of laundry!!! Fed the kids dinner and dropped princess of at yet another practice. 3 Towns over UGH! It is raining with a mix of freezing rain out. Listing to the game in the car and the Patriots are sucking pond water. The boy is being difficult with taking a shower. He is finally in there so I will finish up.

I will spread cheer and smiles while I am there! I am hoping to make at least 4 people smile out of the 50 I will see. I don't think this is much to ask for. I know I can do it. I have to go for 1 new plates 1 transfer and a plate return receipt!! Kinda like 12 days of Xmas. OK I'm off like a prom dress!

So much to do

Everyone is super busy. Errands to run. Work to finish up. Kids have no school tomorrow. It looks like I will have to go into work. UGH...I have a check up tomorrow on my Mirena as well. YUCK! Later Taters!

Princess and The Boy ARRGGG

They drove be BONKERS at dinner. We went to the Chinese place in town, food was great as always. I did take pics of the boy too but for some reason they didn't save to princesses phone. Odd isn't it? Like she has a force field around him that makes it impossible for a photo to be taken of her icky brother.

They were really trying my patience tonight. I had them fill the wood box and its off to their rooms for the night. No fun! I rented movies to watch with them too. I cant let them out of it though. I let too much slip and they know it.

Monday Monday

Had my first Tupperware party yesterday.. My friend/director came with me. It went quite well. I got 3 bookings from it. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves!

I really want to have the week off like my sister does, but NOOOO. I have to work. I wish I had an employee during the day!

Anywho! Princess Loved the movie, she had a blast. I went to Tupperware Bingo on Friday night. Then Saturday hung out with the boy, watched Alvin and the Chipmunks. Cute movie. I then brought him to my sisters for his sleep over. I went shopping with my sister and got some serious deals! 25%off clearance!! Hello. I got the boy new clothes for XMas. I know your thinking, "Wow Carole so fun, he will love that XMas morning"....I always get him a few clothing items. So i got 3 outfits, 1 Kenneth Cole (pants and shirt), 1 Timberland jacket & Timberland jeans, Air walk hoodie and Levi jeans. Pair of gloves too, all for under $45.00!!! Super deals!

I think i will be off Wednesday cuz the kids are and I have alot of baking to do for Aprils house.

Father In Law in Vietnam He was in the Army Special Forces he is now retired. He sent us this for The Boys project for Veterans Day!


I slept till like 8:30AM!!!! I would have slept later but Princess took a shower and blasted the radio in the bathroom. She was getting ready to go babysit for some friends of ours. Princess is a hard ass when it comes to babysitting. I'm interested to see how she does with these two boys. Let's just say she will be earning her $$ today.

Princess has her Movie and sleep over Twilight party tonight. She is ubber excited. The Boy is going to April & Jacks for the night. They will be working on their tractors!! Hubby is working until midnight. I have no plans :( Well scratch that. I will be putting my folders together and getting ready for my Tupperware party tomorrow. I know ladies your all jealous, you want to be home alone with no plans. But I hate it!!! I would rather be busy or have someone home with me. Maybe I will bring my folders with me when I drop the Boy off and make April help me put my stuff together. Scurve dinner off them and then come home and get to bed early. Hm mm sounds like a plan.

Quittin' Time

It's close to quitting time. I have finished everything I need for my party this weekend. I just have to put it all together before Sunday. Have a wonderful weekend. TGIF!!!!

My Blog

Since the name of my blog infers that I am the baby sister I want to share some of the things that happen as the youngest child.

Your oldest sister is mean to you if you say ANYTHING at all to her that she doesn't like. If your middle sister said the same thing, not a problem. But if the baby sister says it OMG How dare you intrude on my life!! The middle sister will never get over being the middle sister. I have come to realize it is who she is and that's OK.

They both resent me because I am the youngest (my feelings not their words). they wore my parents in so I got away with more and was able to do more mature things at a younger age. (ie. get away with a ton of crap)My eldest sister was the first to marry. A guy that my parents didn't approve of but he grew on us. (Now after they are dead and she has 2 babies with him, she decides that my parents were right...UGH) I was the first one to have a baby at 19 yrs old. Oh boy did that set the ball rolling for some serious pissed off sibs. Then married my baby Daddy (LMBO, never thought I would be able to say that)(PS They didn't like my hubby either)Bought a home and had another child.

Things were great for the most part. Until we lost our Mom & Dad. My father died on his Birthday 11-1-2000. He was 57. After we lost him things were tough but we had our Mom to take care of. My middle sister was living at my parents to help my Mom take care of my Dad and his bout with Cancer. Thank God she lived there!!! Well not long after Dad died Mom was getting sick a lot and the Doctor said she was depressed. Well DUHH the man she has loved since 14 years of age is dead!! But Mom's know when things aren't right. She pressed on and they told her she had diverticulitis, HMMM Ok. My anniversary rolls around and I asked mom to cover for me at the office. (I now own her Insurance business, so we worked together) I came in on that day and she asked me to take her to the ER. OK fine, but you are overreacting Mom. Your just not feeling well. We were in there for some time and then they were admitting her. We went up to her room. THE CANCER FLOOR. Oh hell no. I flipped I told them she doesn't have cancer. We just spent the last 2 yrs in and out of this floor with my Dad. It wasn't healthy for her to be on that floor. She doesn't have cancer. They explained it was the only bed available in the hospital. OMG I was super pissed. My mom told me to zip it and that she was fine with it. Well the next few days SUCKED. The doctor came in and told us she was dying and had Cancer. There was nothing they could do and she has 3-6 mts. Are you KIDDING ME? We just lost our dad. Your wrong. She is not going to die! We took her home and all 3 of us stayed with her. Fast forward 4 months 8-30-2002 56 years young! She died with us standing around her bed, in her home, where she had a happy family for so many years.....We were so very sad. My daughter at the time was 6. She had already been through losing my dad with me. Now I was losing my Mom. She is so going to need therapy. She asked me why I was so upset and mad? I was being selfish she told me, that Nannie and poppie need to be together, Nannie was in pain and missed Poppie. That I shouldn't be so selfish! OK she was 6 what the heck, smart little lady! She was so right. But it didn't make the pain any less. We as sisters were orphaned.

I know a lot of people piss moan and complain about taking care of their parents in their old age. It isn't easy I'm sure. I just wish I had the chance to see them grow old. I miss them so much!

There is so many more layers to that story. Someday I will get into it. But that's all for now.

UGH

Left the house last night at 9:30 pm for a Hold Em' game. Had some wine, Hubby drove. I won 2nd place the first round and lost the second round. Hubby doesn't play just the his friend and a few other guys. I only got 3.5 hrs sleep and I don't feel very well...LOL... UGH When will I ever learn. If I cant sleep it off the just don't go. So I am sitting cross legged in at my desk with my eyes at half mast. Space heater is working overtime cuz the HVAC guy that was here yesterday left my friggin heat in my office at 60 BRRR! I have my Big fleece Purple blazer on. Comfy cozy! I'm just hoping its very slooooooooooooooooow today.

Went to wal-mart after dinner last night. OMG $300!!!! We needed a ton of stuff but come on, $300 really?!?!?! Anywho, have a great day!

Anyone know how to move the little blue box that covers my post title?

Its hump day...Blahhhhh!!! Its super cold out and I have already had it with the freezing temps. My soup yesterday was super yummy! IDK what I will get today for lunch. We are having pork chops for dinner. Hubby is off tonight!! Princess has dance. I have left hubby a list via text message. Lets hope he is able to get it done. The boy wants to sign up for basketball and you have to do it in person. Well I work 45 min from my hometown and the rec dept closes at 4ish. How do they expect parents to be able to get there??? So that is one of his honey-do list items. The other is to take out more pork chops. He took out 3 for us last night. I ended up marinating them overnight for today. So if he wants to eat he should do that item as well...LOL! Last night I made the kids Belgian waffles instead! They enjoyed them as well as the neighbor boy. He used to be at the house all the time. He is princesses friend. Used to be a fixture at my house. Was like having a second son. He is now in High School and much taller than me! I couldn't believe it when he came in.

I had Emma last night. My sister went to NYC and it took her longer than expected to get home. I picked Emma up from daycare and went to the neighbors house to show her off. They had not seen her in over a year. Neighbor boys Mom was so happy to see her. Then we were off to get Princess ready for basket ball, shoes hair tie water bottle we are off!!!. Emma was good for me until she went onto the basketball court and laid down and cried face down on the court. The girls thought it was cute. I was like OMG I forgot what its like to have a baby! So she tantrumed and I took her to the car, the boy the whole time is saying to me "Mom aren't you so embarrassed?" LOL I reminded him of all the times he threw tantrums and this quieted his questioning.

All in all a good night!

I have got to go shopping. We are out of so many things. I'm such a slacker lately. IDK if its the weather or the daylight savings crap. Later taters!

I tore my entire office apart Friday before I left work looking for IRS paperwork! I found it Thank You God!!!It is a super hot mess in here. I have yet to tackle it either. I'm so putting it off. I told my self after lunch!! I will let you know if I actually do it...lol

Went to 2 Tupperware parties over the weekend for a little training. Both did quiet well. I think its cuz I was there...hee hee hee... I have my first party the 23rd and I am trying to get my friend Jenn too book one for Black Friday. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

1 hr till lunch then its cleaning time after that UGH! Help!!
