New Mommy Parties!

I just signed up to do Mommy parties, we loved the ZUng Zhu pets. Next up is www.schleich-s.com. Kids animal figures. More later!

High School

Its hard on kids to enter High School. I knew that, What I didn't know was that it's hard on parents too!

The fine line we walk as parents has too many twists and turns, your bound to fall off once in a while. Its how you pick yourself back up and start walking again, that is the true test.

Freshman

I am having a tough time dealing with my freshamn. I hope I am doing things right. She hates me so I guess thats a good start.

Its not raining

I cant believe it! It has been so wet around here and now it is very warm and sunny today! Just busy reading up on all my blogs. Have a great day!

8th Grade Graduation & Semi-Formal

That's it! No more Jr. High. I am being a stupid head about it too! I should be happy that I have a smart, beautiful, happy, healthy daughter. Instead I am wallowing in self pity because my daughter is growing up. I should be happy. I should be happy. I should be happy. I am telling my self this over and over.

I am happy that she is turning out so well.

She is a great kid.

At 13 there is no reprogramming her if I made a mistake. Nothing can change the way I have raised her. What if I screwed up? What if I forgot to tell her something and now that she is going to be in high school we all know she isn't going to listen to me. What if I missed my window to give her advice?

Lots of what ifs.....

I may not be cool in her eyes anymore
I may not be smart in her eyes anymore
BUT I am the one who loves her with all my heart and soul! I pray to God that she can see that. My baby girl I love you!!!

PS I truly missed my parents last night. They would have been so VERY proud of their Katie. So so VERY PROUD!
