My Little Man is 8 years old today as of 2:41 PM!

This is him in the Coupon prize machine. You see how many coupons you can catch and put threw the hole in 30 seconds. He TOTALLY cheated and picked some up before the air started to blow things around (SNEAKY SNAKE). Our party host was wonderful (and apparently didn't care one bit that he did that). So this Chick from one of the other parties that was going on sat in our Birthday chair. It was decked out with balloons and all. OK Do you not know that its the birthday kids chair? OMG I was pissed about it. I sat at the table on one of the seats and she didn't even move. i was like HELLO! That put me in a mood. I should have just told her to move. I was so heated over it I was afraid if she said something nasty I would have got into a screaming match at a children's party. Not nice mommy! LOL So I let it go.

Before we left for the roller skating party my niece and nephew were dropped off as well as a friend of ours child. Then the neighbor said she couldn't bring her son and he couldn't go. UGH Ok well drop him here and we will bring him. SO Hubby and I took two cars. I got all the girls hee hee hee.... the boys load into hubby's truck I have the girls in my car. "Carole, my truck wont start, battery is dead" OYE VAY! OK lets jump it we have plenty of time no big deal. Well it wouldn't start with the cables on. "Honey did you make sure there was juice in the wires BEFORE you hooked it up to the truck?" his response "UGH YES CAROLE" Ok just thought i would ask. we are now 28 minutes to the party that is a 25 minute drive too get to. I call my sister to borrow her car cuz we have so many kids one car will not work. She gets the wheels in motion to get her hubby over to my house ASAP. My hubby takes the cables off his truck and I'm in my car. backing out "Carole! look!!!" HE HITS THE ENDS TOGETHER AND THERE IS NO JUICE. Ok the "i told you so's" came pouring out of my mouth. OMG. I was bullshit. I was keeping calm until that point. I asked him if he had it hooked up right?!?!?! OK phew cancelled my sister and we were off. We got there in time and all went well.


Got home form the party and cleaned the house. I had 4 kids playing in the yard and my oldest helping hubby and me clean. Once that was finished I had to feed the children and family. Threw some chicken on the grill and made a cold mac salad. By the time we were done eating all the guest started to arrive for the evening party for our family. Everything went well and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

Went to church school with the kids and took niece and nephew with me. Then off to Stew Leonard's for rice cakes. They are ridiculously good there. Homemade YUMMY. then got home and went to a Tupperware meeting. I'm tired and didn't rest much but I'm feeling good.

NOW its TGIF!!!

We had the MIL over for dinner last night. We had pizza from a wonderful place in the city. They light cooked it and didn't cut it so I popped it in the oven at 500 degrees for 5 min. It was perfect!

Helped Princess finish up a few projects that were due this morning. One was on her Daddy. It was fun! Although while helping her she said and I quote "don't use such big words, I would never use those words" Here are a few of the words that were too big, apprehend, disperse, proceed....LOL....OYE So much for an Honors English student! LOL

Hubby and The Boy went for a dirt bike ride behind the house. They both came back in one piece so I was thanking God.


No meat today which is not going to be a problem. I think I contracted Strep throat from my dear little niece Emma. So my appetite is minimum.


The Boys party is tomorrow morning at the roller skating place. Then in the evening I am having snacks and cake for my sisters and hubby's family. Should be fun, eventful, but fun. I am just hoping to feel good for it. The boy wants me on skates. i used to work at a rink so I know how to skate but years ago Hubby threw out my speed skates and i hate to rent. LOL BUT for my Birthday boy i will rent! Have a great weekend.

TGI.....What? Its only Thursday?!?!?!?!

I had a very eventful day yesterday. While in a late business lunch I got a text from Princess saying "HE FOUND IT!!!" immediately I bust out with "SHIT" nice for a meeting huh? Luckily the lady I was with is not only a business associate but a friend. She said "Oh no what happened at home?" A mom knows, in her case she is a step Mom with 2 boys. I proceeded to tell her that my 7 soon to be 8 year old just found his Birthday present, a new dirt bike, that he was supposed to get this weekend. We have had that thing for months and 2 days before he is supposed to get it he finds it! What are the odds? I came home to a VERY happy little boy and a glowing proud husband who was right, the bike was not too big for the boy.


Today I had a Luncheon for an association that I am part of. The speaker was supposed to be inspirational for sales. Well I think that he had a few pearls of wisdom but you really had to shuck a lot of oysters to find those pearls. He was geared, in my opinion, to telemarketers not Insurance Agents. Oh well. There is an hour and a half of my life I'll never get back. It was a good, free lunch though, (insert silver lining here)

My little Niece Emma, April 's daughter is still sick. My Oldest sister, Tracey is getting kicked out of her apartment early. they closed on a house but thought they would take their time to get it ready. Their landlord had other plans. So April and I are taking her kids as often as we can so they can prepare the house to move in condition. Her Ex husband is actually taking them tonight, even though it isn't his night. OYE!

All in all it has been a good week for the most part. A lot of little surprises, hey life would be boring without the speed bumps right?

Hubby is Miss Emma's favorite Uncle. She is such a good girl. She has Strep Throat and is home sick today. She vomited this morning for the first time. I feel so bad for her!

I have to fill the recycle Bin!!!

I have to have to have to get my shred stuff together. I will be setting aside an hour everyday until its done! I have a Web meeting today at 2pm. there are so many changes going on in Massachusetts in the Insurance market. It is hard to keep up. SO I wont be around much.

No Meat Today!

Why is it every Friday when I can't eat meat I want meat the most?
