Cinco De Mayo!!!!

YAY for the Mexican Holiday! Lets hope they all stay healthy and get rid of that damn flu!

We are going to Aprils for dinner tonight. The boy has a project on dinosaur's due May 20th. Fun Fun Fun! He also has a soccer game on Mother's Day. I am not happy about that. I know I should be fine with it but I am sooo NOT.

Princess has a school dance on Friday and a party on Saturday.

We are having my MIL over for dinner. We are making Filet Mignon with Bearnaise sauce, roasted potatoes, and steamed broccoli. Hubby will "help" me cook. There is no way in hell i am letting him wreck a Whole Tenderloin. LOL

I got my hair done on Saturday. That was my Mothers Day present, it came out very nice. It is all one length now. I have never had that before. It is a very pretty color as well. Almost my natural color. I enjoyed it very much, Thanks honey!!

Invites went out for The Boys First Communion. Still saving up $$ to pay for it...LOL I need to get the house in order and wash down all the walls (Log homes collect A LOT of dust on the inside logs) as well as clean up the pig sty!

Mothers Day

Mothers Day is fast approaching. My mother passed away 08/2002 so I do not have to make her dinner nor do I have to get her flowers or a gift. I would give anything to have her here to be able to do those things for her, as would my 2 sisters! However, it makes me kind of angry when people piss and moan about having to do those things for their Mother. HELLO You have a mother she is still here on Earth living and breathing!!!

Be thankful and treasure your time together. Forgive and forget because life is too short not to hang out with your Mommy as much as you can!!!

Star date April 28th 2009

I think my daughter might be going to the movies this weekend with a bunch of people. I think we both know what "a bunch of people" means ah?? I think that boys are going! What the hell!?!?!?!?!? She is 13, and I know April tells me I have to let her be, but it really urks me! I will get over this, I am glad she is a healthy wonderful, smart, beautiful, child err teen. I Thank God for both of my kids health everyday! Its just these hurdles that are killing me. I'm like a fat kid running for the last piece of cake, outta breath and wishing I was better prepared!

Hubby took me to lunch which was a nice treat.

I just cant think of anything regarding posting but Kayleigh. It is so very sad what the Freeman family will go through. Please pray for strength for their entire family.

Busy week of kids outta school

UGH! Its great that they get some time to relax and not have to do book work BUT.............Calgon take me away!

I know I only have a handful of readers BUT

Please pray for Kayleigh. There in NC and the docs say that after 10+ months of fighting to stay alive that she may be brain dead. There is still hope, read about it HERE
